London, March 29, 2021: WCL, a software business based in London that improves the flow of business in (re)insurance markets worldwide, has announced the appointment of Matt Snape as Head of Business Development, to support its growth strategy.
Based in London, Matt will focus on growing WCL’s existing client relationships, as well as developing WCL’s network of clients globally, following the acquisition of WCL by Zywave in 2020.
Matt brings with him 25 years’ experience in leading business development and sales teams in the insurance industry. He joins WCL from Charles Taylor InsurTech, where he served as Sales and Accounts Director, responsible for growing the sales and marketing team globally. Prior to Charles Taylor InsureTech, Matt worked for CGI as Client Director, Insurance, where he was responsible for growing CGI’s insurance propositions with specific focus on insurer distributed pricing hubs, digital transformation, and bringing products to market.
